I set up a field trip for my homeschool group and I'm so glad I did! I'd never been here before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Our tour guide was Ethan and he did a great job with everything from answering questions to engaging the kids (and adults). The tour was first followed be a train ride. It was during the train ride that we learned that everyone there volunteered. I hadn't planned on letting my kids pick something to buy, but after finding out that they were all volunteers and they donated their time, I knew my money was going to a great cause to support further restorations, etc. I'm so glad we went. We all had a blast! Thank you so much Ohio Railway!!
Went here for the Halloween event. It's pretty fun. The Halloween event was geared towards little kids and they did the best they could with the funds they have and with the help of volunteers. It's worth it to give these guys the money (it's not expensive at all) just too keep part of the history going.
Everyone was very nice and very helpful. They knew what they were doing and talking about. Will go back for sure
This is a super cool museum! The volunteers are great, full of great information and fantastic personalities. They are completely voluntary guides and you can tell they love what they do! This is a must stop in Central Ohio! Thank you for your time and for keeping a wonderful tradition going!!!!
It was cold when we went, which made it less fun. Some interesting trains to walk through. A volunteer provides information. Train ride is available multiple times in the day if you plan it right.
