This is a very welcoming and friendly church. Every Sunday is an event!

If you're looking for a church home or a place to visit to learn more about the Christian faith, even if you are not sure of your own faith, please come in! This is a loving, safe place and all are welcome here. Feeling frustrated from the gigantic churches whose major focus was more on raising millions of dollars and politics than on Scripture and Jesus, I desperately needed to get back to basics. I know many people out there feel the same way, but don't let that get in the way of your relationship with God. And please, I know that so many people who are agnostic/atheist are afraid to visit church. Many friends of mine have reported being singled out, "attacked" and pressured to accept Jesus at other churches in the past when all they wanted to do was check out the service and observe the traditions, to simply learn. You don't need to be afraid here. This is a church that emphasizes the commandment to love one another. The visitors page of the church website is what drew me in: "We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, or divorced-and-remarried; gay, straight, rich or poor. We welcome Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives, and those somewhere in between. We extend a special welcome to those with crying newborns, broken hearts, or in need of a safe place." The message goes on from there. When I first came to the church, all of the wonderful people I met lived up to that message and continue to do so. There are many opportunities to serve. My daughters love the activities and clubs for kids and they also have opportunities to serve. The leadership is outstanding! I've never been in a church where I actually got to meet the pastors and have the opportunity to talk to them. Sad, I know. That just shows what sets this church apart. I highly suggest that anyone who visits the church to attend social hour afterwards because you will get to meet so many people who want to welcome you. God bless, and I hope to see you at service!

Lovely church. Full of loving people. The inside is beautiful!

Almost 39 years of membership, and the warmth and outreach keeps improving. Excellent music program for K-6 children's choir, and great chancel choir.
